Equipped with Bass Boost and Sound Stage switches, the XDuoo Link 2 is a portable amplifier designed to colour your sound -- if you want it to.
With the switches disengaged, the XDuoo Link 2 provides a subtle warmth in the lows and mids but overall provides a fairly accurate reference, similar to its predecessor, the XDuoo Link.
But turn on the Bass Boost, you’ll be treated to a powerful boomy bass, which does sometimes muddle the mids but works well for bass-heavy tracks.
Similarly, the Sound Stage switch adds some airy headroom to the high end.
